Kacey Welsh and Sport Ponies has been training Champion Welsh Ponies, Horses (including other breeds such as Paints, Arabians, Warmbloods, and the Crossbred), and Riders for Over fifteen years in various disciplines including: English and Western Pleasure, Horsemanship/Equitation, Hunters, Trail, Driving, and Dressage. Classical Dressage is the cornerstone of my program, and is considered the true unity of understanding between equine and human, no matter which style of riding you prefer.

Lessons are available to children as well as adults. Classical training in equitation is the starting point for each rider to gain a solid, independent seat that works with your horse. Although I prefer riders owning their own horses, I can provide ponies for lessons to children and small adults. Welsh Ponies are used extensively for children's lessons and are the perfect size for the "height challenged". The Pony's smaller stature gives children a chance to succeed in grooming and tacking up on their own, creating confidence in their own abilities.
